The September 2018 edition of the Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine 365 2018 Online Course has to be the most natural design concept for me so far!
The class sketch features 3 large photos and then this amazing strip of small photos to one side that gives you all kinds of little nooks and crannies for embellishments. Any layout that gives you the perfect, and many, wee spots for embellishments is a good one in my books!
Now this is especially fun when you are working with the Echo Park, Imagine That Boy collection. The squid has a pirate eye patch – the octopus has a pirate eye patch and a bandanna! Don’t even get me giggling about the hammer head shark with a pirate hat!
Sorry, giggle, focus, giggle … here is may take on the class:
I also used some Bazzill Basics Cardstock, Arctic and Bazzill Basics Cardstock, Avalanche (let’s be honest, this paper goes on EVERY layout I create), some white splatters using some slightly watered down Gesso and the most wonderful Pinkfresh Studio, Puffy Sticker Stars.
I continue to love this class. I have such a sweet spot for the private Facebook Group that has been created by SCT for the class participants – all the support and comments and joy everyone shares for all the creations we are making is so crafty-heart-energizing!
If you would like to peek at the pages I made based on the previous months of the Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine 365 2018 Online Course, here you go:
