I have found my tribe – my double page layout tribe!

The Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine 365 2018 Online Course is such a joy! The course is so much more than just an awesome monthly class and double-page layout sketch. It has become this amazing online community for me.

Every month through the exclusive Facebook group I have had the chance to engage with fellow scrapbookers also taking the course. I look forward to every post that goes up in our group and the chance to check out their creations. The inspiration is never ending. I am loving the always positive and encouraging comments that are posted every day among my double-page layout tribe! Oh and every month you have a chance to win a great prize from some fabulous sponsors!

We have just kicked off the July SCT 365 2018 class and a quick peek tells me it is going to be another fabulous sketch. Before I get to creating though, I thought I would first share with you what I created in the last couple of monthly classes, May and June.

May – SCT 365 2018 

This double-page layout features the My Mind’s Eye – Wander collection with all its fabulous shades of green, peach and gold accents. I am usually not a green gal or a pink person but there was just something so amazing about the way MME put together this collection that I could not resist. Cute and pretty and outdoorsy – love!

I added a subtitle Moments of the Great Glen Way using Maggie Holmes, Gather Gold Foil Puffy Sticker Alphas and the massive Adventure title by American Crafts, Dear Lizzy, Paintable Large Chipboard Words as the final touches. The grid design of the class sketch gave me a great opportunity to scrap all of these random trail moments!

June – SCT 365 2018

The June class featured another grid design which was perfect for more random trail moment photos. I am on the tail end of scrapping the 100s of photos my sister and I took while on this trip in 2013 – which means I have lots of photos left but none that really support a full page layout. So, grid photo compilations are the perfect solution.

For this double pager, I used the Pinkfresh Studio – Escape the Ordinary and Pinkfresh Studio – A Case of the Blahs collections. Then topped it off with American Craft, Thickers Phrases in black to give some contrast pop! I received these phrase Thickers in my last Wild Hare Kits deluxe kit and I want to put them on everything – don’t you love when a product sings to your scrapbook soul!?

I can see myself using this class sketch as a go-to sketch inspiration in future for sure!
