Even More Cocoa Vanilla!

Hello out there!

So happy to be back on the blog today! It’s a gloomy, grey, kinda snowy day here in Alberta and there is definitely something so cozy about being in my Scrap Cave on days like this!

I was introduced to this AWESOME Boys Rule set by Cocoa Vanilla Studio by the kindness of my fellow Scrapstorian gals, my sister (Brande) and Cheryl! I was trying to be super scrapbook budget disciplined so I turned down a trip to our local scrapbook store! No temptations! Well during Cheryl’s visit she stumbled on this set and her and B just knew I’d love it and I had to have it …… so they gifted me this awesomeness! So sweet and man I would of been torqued if I had missed out!

Now to play with along with the 1 to 3 extravaganza! Check out Brande’s post 1 to 3 with Cocoa Vanilla Studio for insight on what this 1 to 3 thing is and her pages of Cocoa Vanilla, and Cheryl’s post More Cocoa Vanilla! for her creations with this great kit too.

My first two layouts are takes on two sketch challenges, but the last one I went a little rouge! Take a look.

I started with the Sketchabilities #152 Sketch Challenge. I love this sketch, it has so many possibilities to work with. This is all Boys Rule with just the American Crafts, Thickers (Amy Tangerine) ‘wonder’ and some bling from my stash.

This set is so fun! The colours are perfect absolutely love it!

Next, I moved onto the Paper Issues, Keep It Sketchy September 2018 challenge sketch – again super fun! The sketch was easy to transform and make my own. I used the Stampin Up’ Cog Punch to create, well, the cogs some bling; some mesh from my stash and a little Heidi Swapp, Color Shine – Cherry to round this layout out.

The embellishments in the Boys Rule collection are so fun! They give you such a generous variety that are so easy to work with. Different shapes and sizes, words and sayings and random Big Foots too – LOVE!

My last layout is my own, not sketch inspired! I loved the circle pattern on this bad boy pattern paper so I played with it by layering my own random circle sizes using the Creative Memories, Custom Cutting System – Circles! I also dropped in a cute puffy camera from Freckled Fawn and some random bling cause that’s how I roll!

Well I think its pretty easy to declare the Scrapstorian experience using Cocoa Vanilla Studio product was an absolute success. We love the quality of the product and have a pretty darn special place for this Boys Rule collection!
