Making my way Back

Hello Scrapstorian Friends! I don’t know if you remember me, but I used to hang out around here … 😉

It seems that once or twice a year, I drift away from scrapbooking, flail around feeling like I have no time to create, feel listless & aimless, and then work my way back. I’m in the “must find my way back” stage now – which, I’ll admit, is preferable to the aimless stage.

The cycle tends to be this: make less, want to buy more. While it’s not a healthy habit, I do indulge when I can tell the buying will lead back to the making. Since the beginning of this year, I’ve been looking for new challenges, new supplies, new ideas, etc. to get myself motivated again. (Depending on my mindset, this “inspiration loop” can feel paralyzing more than inspiring. In recent weeks, I could sense a shift; I knew it was time to get my hands messy.)
