Wild Hare Kits December Sketch – New Direction by Rosa

We are playing with the newest sketch from The Wild Hare Kits again this month. This sketch is another multi-photo sketch with room for a clean or mixed media interpretation and inspires any format of memory keeping – from Travelers Notebook to 12×12 to pockets (as you will see!)

Here is a peek at the December sketch from The Wild Hare Kits:

First up in our series of takes on this sketch is Rosa. Here is where we see the sketch in a Traveler’s Notebook format!

We love how she makes the ‘NEW’ in the title caps lock and included lots of arrows (pattern paper and embellishments) to really hit home the memory she is documenting!

Rosa flipped the sketch and used Wild Whisper Designs, Adventure pattern and Bazzill Basics Cardstock papers. She embellished with cut file arrows and some wooden ones from her stash. The wooden arrows are painted with some Shimmerz Paintshttps://www.shimmerzpaints.com (Creameez, Thunderstorm and Vibez, Don’t Rain on My Parade) which she also used to add some splatters.

Speaking of documenting- Rosa used a tab behind the photo to tell the ‘story’. A great idea when the story is tough, you have run out of room or do not want to mess with the design of your page. I like using hidden journalling to hide my writing!

Rosa’s finishing touch was some SpiegelMom Scraps sequins – she picked out some black and blue ones from a few different sequin mixes. Perfect!

Next blog post will be Shar’s take. Remember when I said this sketch is great for all formats? Shar’s take will show you how the sketch translates to pocket pages!

Hope you get a chance to get crafty this weekend!
