This month us Scrapstorians all had the chance to play with The Wild Hare Kits November Sketch!
Every month The Wild Hare Kits posts a sketch and other fun challenges up on their Blog and Instagram for inspiration. As a member of the The Wild Hare Kits Design Team (pinch me), I have had the pleasure of being one of our sketch designers. I love that all of us Scrapstorians create a layout with something I sketched – seeing all 4 of our styles based on something I created is icing on the sketch cake!
Here is a peek at November sketch from The Wild Hare Kits that we are playing with:
First up, we are showcasing Shar’s take on the sketch – it’s a beauty!
For this one, Shar flipped the sketch on its side (great idea!) and then reached for her stash supplies. Shar could have gone super complicated with layers and ’mixed media crazy, magical realness’ (her words!) on this layout but instead she chose to keep is a little simpler especially for these two amazing pics!
She used Simple Stories, You are Here (2016) collection and complimented it with the palm trees and title using the Silhouette Design Store – Palm Trees & Sea Breeze, Sweet Afton cut file. Shar finished it off with her favourite Stampin Up Heart Punch and some bling in a confetti-like design – her signature touch!
If you haven’t yet experienced the fun of The Wild Hare Kits, let’s give you a bit more info. It is a paper crafting kit club that offers both Deluxe and Petite sized kits that are hand-curated just for you. Simply fill out a Style Profile online to tell the team what colours and products you like (or don’t like), what type of paper crafting you do (scrapbooking, TN, size, etc) and what you will be working on with your kit … and a fantastic kit will show up at your door, as often as you like – order a new kit as and when you want to (it’s not a monthly subscription)! So exciting to see what they pick for you each kit. Visit The Wild Hare Kits to start your Style Profile!
Each of us Scrapstorians will be sharing our take on this month’s The Wild Hare Kits sketch – stay tuned in the coming days for the next take in this blog post series.
