The Wild Hare Kits, September Sketch with Shar

Well Hello!

It’s Shar here! UP on the blog today with my not one but TWO takes on The Wild Hare Kits Sketch for September!

First of all the sketch rocks! Seriously – take a peek and you will see how many options there are for this bad boy.. you could use any colour palettes, page themes, pictures, embellishments.. on and on… go ahead check it out! You will have a zillion page ideas for it right away hence I did two lay out takes and I could of kept going! The sketch was designed by none other then my sister in scrap, and my sister sister… Brande! #rockstarsketchstatus

Here is the sketch!

Now, my attempt over the next several scrapbook projects is to use my stash.. I have a ton of supplies in my Scrap Cave I need to use up so please bear with me if I don’t totally remember where every supply originated from! 😊

TAKE 1:

Using a Chevron pattern I have had for like a ba-zillion years which I thought mimicked mountains.. so I added a few snow caps.

Of course smooshed Shimmerz Paints in my favourite colours purple and blue!

And after placing the pics I bedazzled my page using randoms from Color Cast, Clear Scraps and Stampin’ Up buttons- which I have also had for like a quadrillion years!

And ain’t no page o’ mine is ever be finished without some carefully placed bling!!

Alright for my SECOND take… My son and I attended our local Pride Parade and I was so proud of him for embracing the message of Love is Love and came home inspired by the beautiful bright and bold colours:

For the wee Pride couples I coloured little wood people with Vicki Boutin’s Crayons!

Cricut Cutter – Alphalicious helped me with the Love is Love titling!

I also received this Bella Blvd Colour Chaos Invisibles in a Wild Hare Kit I ordered about a year ago!

The background is smooshing using Vicki’s amazing art crayons- all complimented by a little bling!

And here is the big REVEAL:

In the end I found that it mimicked more of first take then staying true to the original sketch however it had elements of influence especially on the background and the picture placement!

Great Sketch B!

And thanks to you all so much for stopping by!
