TN Challenge by WeiWei Wang

I have been following one of the coolest creatives on Instagram for a while now and I cannot wait to share her great work with you again here on our blog. Her Insta name is @weiweiwang_12 and she is a Traveler’s Notebook  (TN) queen! So much so that not only does she create fabulous TN layouts, she also has a monthly TN sketch challenge.

Her challenge sketches are always so clean, often feature opportunities for multiple photos, and always an absolute blast to play with. So much so that a crew of us Scrapstorian gals had to play with the challenge this month while together on a scrapbook retreat!

Here is the June challenge sketch:

My take on the sketch is in a standard TN format but I flipped the sketch to use it horizontally. I am working on a week by week TN for our new pup in a horizontal TN format and this sketch translated so well – I love how it turned out. I had the chance to finally use a Felicity Jane, Hannah collection I have been hoarding and some of my newest Scrappin Happy Studio, Hello Dog epoxy flair too! Here is my take on the sketch:

Cheryl’s take on the sketch took it from the TN format to a double page, 12×12 format. Yup, that’s right, that is how great Wei Wei’s sketches are! Cheryl used this sketch to tell the story of her hiking tan lines #fail – hilarious. Here is Cheryl’s take on the sketch:

Rosa, a bestie of us Scrapstorian gals, could not resist the sketch either. Her take on the sketch took the design into a 5×7 notebook and wow did it translate to this format fabulously as well! If you are an Outlander fan, Rosa’s layout will have you hearing the sound of bees! Here is Rosa’s take on the sketch:

Such a fun sketch to play with, thanks WeiWei – we cannot wait for the next one!
