Hello, hello!
As part of The Wild Hare Kits Design Team, I am playing along with the 30 Days of Thankful challenge the super talented @kira.gets.crafty and @preciselytazhi created for us Design Team gals and all our The Wild Hare Kits fans!
The challenge is all about documenting, in any way that makes your scrapbook heart happy, 30 thankfulness prompts. Some are doing this as a daily challenge, I am doing this as a challenge over the month .. and likely into December too.
While I feel like I am grateful every day for the amazing life I have, I do love any opportunity to really sit down and reflect on my gratefulness, on the wonderful life we are creating, and all that touchy-feely-happy stuff. Also, full disclosure, I have some total Grumpy McGrumperton days. I think it will be a great bit of therapy to have a Thankful project to look back through on those days when I need a reset!
Here is a peek at the thankful prompts:
I decided to approach this project in a Travelers Notebook (TN). For a few reasons. TNs are my current scrapbooking addiction which I am very thankful for finally trying after years of wondering if the format was too small for me. I can complete a TN layout in under an hour making it more likely I would complete the challenge in a ‘timely’ fashion. I also wanted to use nothing but my November Deluxe Kit from The Wild Hare Kits for this Wild Hare Kits challenge but I knew I wanted lots of my Kit leftover to also make some of my traditional 12×12 layouts too. TN for the win!
I also decided that I would use largely 2×2 or 2×4 photos for each Thankful layout. This way I would have lots of room to journal and loads of space to play with all the goodies in my Kit. Alison over at The Wild Hare Kits always includes such amazing embellishments (which I am so thankful for) and I wanted to show em off a lot!
So far I have created TN layouts for the following 30 Days of Thankful prompts. I am moving through them in no particular order or schedule. Just working on each as they strike my fancy, as and when I feel the feels to create!

Once I am finished with all 30 prompts I will pop a flip through video up here on the Scrapstorian blog and our YouTube channel. I am also featuring the pages I create on my Instagram @brandedavison
