Going Out to Sea with Bella Blvd

Shar here in the scrap cave!! Following up Brande’s awesome take on the Creative Scrapper’s April Sketch Challenge with one of my own!

Here is a look at the Creative Scrapper’s April Sketch Challenge sketch:

I adapted the Sketch to fit the 6×8 layout size I am using for my Mexico Album!

Worried that the amount of patterns might be too busy for this size of page… I started playing with the pattern blocks and soon realized that balancing 2 bold patterns with 2 white backed patterns to match the background plus popping up the picture calmed and separated the busy-ness with out losing the fun!

Adding some embellishments from the ever so cute and so awesome Bella Blvd Secrets of the Sea collection and of course some BLING gave me the Ta Da fun and playful result I wanted!

Shar – what a great page! The take on the Creative Scrappers sketch is really great – it is even more fun in this smaller format. The Bella Blvd collection you have used is perfect especially with all the layered embellishments. Good one!
