Wee Giggles

Whoopee the April 2018 Sketch Challenge over at Creative Scrappers is a good one! It feature a grid pattern (love) and stars (love a lot) and circles (love the most). The one photo design leaves lots of room to make the circles and star embellishment clusters a real focal point on the layout. Here is a look at the sketch:

Pretty great eh! Well if you follow this blog or have visited lately, you may have noticed quite a few blog posts with the Crate Paper, Cool Kid collection. I cannot get enough of it. Just such a perfect collection for the little people photos. I don’t even have the embellishments or stickers for the collection (can’t find them to buy them), I only have the paper and still it seems to be my wee-kid go to!

Here is my take on the sketch:

A little close up of these matches-perfectly Freckled Fawn Star Puffy Stickers, Freckled Fawn Foam Word Stickers, and Felicity Jane, Mile Foam hearts. I originally had these big stars cut out on my Big Shot die-cut machine but I was really digging all these cute foam words so I switched things up mid-game.

If you love this sketch, pop on over to Creative Scrappers blog for some additional inspiration from their talented design team. While there take a peek back at some past sketch challenges too. There are quite a few with this grid design concept. I think any of them combined would make some awesome double page spreads …hmm and now I wonder why I have not done that yet? Gotta go!
