In late December at a family event our mom snapped this amazing picture of three of my brothers looking all dapper and such in their fancy outfits and I loved it instantly. While I was sadly not able to attend the event, I knew I still had to document this awesome photo!
In my latest addiction to all things Felicity Jane, I of course went right for the black and white stripped boxes their collections comes so beautifully delivered in. Yes, I keep all things FJ in the B/W Boxes-o-Love – I dont have the heart to store their collections any other way, the boxes are just too pretty.
I went through the Caroline, Heidi and Willow collections and pulled out some bits and bobs of each to make a masculine focused page. The soft tones and female named collections lines might have you think Felicity Jane is all gal – but I am telling you right now, their collections are for any occasion, event, or family member (including the furry ones) that you can think to document. I am always impressed at the versatility of their collections and how well they all coordinate with one another. If you have a bit left over from one collection, toss it in with your next one and it works perfectly. For my page Caroline, Heidi and Willow all got along like long lost best friends!
Here is a look at the layout I created with this ‘bestie’ collection from Felicity Jane:
I had some heartfelt, big sister, get all emotional things to say about each of my brothers and the awesome bond that they have with one another. So I took advantage of Heidi’s Designer Pockets and Story Tags to tuck my gushy journalling away.
A few of the Felicity Jane collections feature Silicone Charms. At first I was not sure what these would be. Its so hard to get a sense sometimes when shopping online. Peeking through the Felicity Jane Instagram though gives me a good idea of what the product will be based on how their Designers have used it so I gave them a go. So glad I did. They are the cutest little soft plastic embellishments a scrapbooker could ask for. The wee hearts on this page are Caroline’s silicone charms. I want to use them on every page!
Hope you have a scrap-happy weekend!
