A couple of us here at Scrapstorian are feeling pretty special this spring! Cheryl and I both have scrapbook pages featured in Creative Scrapbooker Magazine – Spring 2018 Edition. Eeeeeek! Wow. Pinch me!

I, of course, have to document this amazing memory in my scrapbook album. Yes. I do see the hilarity of scrapbooking a scrapbook magazine page which features a scrapbook page on a scrapbook layout. But hey, a crafters gotta craft!

What better way to scrapbook this Creative Scrapbooker Magazine memory than with none other than the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine – March 2018 Sketchy Challenge.

The challenge sketch is a double page timeline design with pictures across the bottom and a big title. Take a peek:

While I didn’t have a timeline to scrap the design concept really worked for me.

I cut the images of my scrapbook pages, the section title and the little write up for each from a spare copy of the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. Then pulled out the amazing Jillibean Soup – Shades of Color Soup collection and got down to layering and tucking and all that fun scrap stuff.

The colours in this Jillibean Soup collection are awesome! Here my double page layout:

I had too much fun creating the title for this layout. I used the Bella Blvd Wonky Alphabets (White) Freckled Fawn White Puffy Script Alpha (White), Gossamer Blue – Gramercy Road, Tiny Alphas (White) with a bunch of the cute puffy stickers and die cuts from the Jillibean collection and a rainbow of string from my sewing box.

The collection was also so easy to layer. I pretty much used any paper (a or b side), any of the die cuts, stickers or puffy stickers from Jillibean and just layered away to create a happy place for each of the cut outs from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine.
