I am slowly getting to the end of the way too many photos I have from an epic adventure walking the Great Glen Way in Scotland with my sister in 2013. A good thing to, my album is getting much to big for its britches…but wow I am loving it so much! I promise to put up an album flip through video on our YouTube once is done and dusted.
The photos I have left to scrap are not stellar but are awesome prompts for some stories that just must be told. So I am looking for layout designs that allow for my “OK” photo(s), leave lots of room room for embellishments to fancy up the pics and of course room for the story!
Well, the Lets Get Sketchy February 15-2018 Sketch Challenge is absolutely perfect for story about me and my sister walking a 6 km detour for the awesome Cameron museum .. that was CLOSED. Come on! My dogs were barking!
Here is a peek at the Lets Get Sketchy February 15-2018 Sketch Challenge:
Now here is the layout I created based on the sketch:
I secretly love this sad face photo of me – it was hard to keep in place for the photo I was laughing so hard at our poor luck. Every time I look at it, I smile.
I moved the title to the middle as part of the embellishment cluster and instead of trimming the entire page with a background colour, I used the edges to journal this sad (cause of the extra kilometers we walked on barking feet) but hilarious (cause we had an awesome time doing it and laughed so hard when we arrived) story.
Thanks again Let’s Get Sketchy – the Brenshevia inspiration is epic again!
