Well Hello Everyone!
I have been away from my scrap-cave for too long and finally took some time out of our busy life to play!! Does that ever happen to you? One days its Dec 1st and the next day its February 24th! Wow!
I wanted to get back to my 365 days of Stuck Sketches! I missed playing along with those talented lassies! PLUS Brande on our team takes the time to send us a treat each month for a product review!! I love mail treats!!
SO I combined this post to include the product review and the sketch… a 2 for 1!!!!
The featured product: the MEGA PACK exclusive die cuts from our beloved Peachy Cheap If you haven’t jumped on this peach party train… you best get your butt a one way ticket! They release a deal of the day every day in limited quantities from many of our fav product lines at a “peachy” price! Check them out on Instagram or their website at link above ! So FUN!
Now back to the LO….
On the norm I am NOT a lover of the flowers! Like seriously, I cannot flower anything?! And if I do, I HATTTESSS IT! I find them really hard to work with! HOWEVER…THIS SET- I LOVED!
The mix of plain and gently coloured flowers, more of a sketch look versus really real looking flowers really helped me put this LO together! I bunched them together and worked the page from there! Can you believe that I worked from the flowers to create the page! As Cheryl would say “WHAT IS HAPPENING?”
My Take:

I wanted to make sure not to lose the little girl sweetness of this photo but still keep the LO pretty and elegant!
And I believe I have accomplished this by tipping and tilting the photo, keeping a soft flow, using the MEGA awesome die cuts (cute font and sketch style flowers) paired with a splash of bling and some random disciplined doodles!

- The layering behind the photo inspired the layering of my flowers!
- This circles I mimicked just a slight variation!
- The butterfly embellishment at the top inspired my “enjoy” placement!
This is the best part – seeing what we do with the inspiration we are given!
Thanks for stopping by!
