Oh boy did I wrap up 2017 with an exciting month!
No I don’t mean a crazy New Year’s Party, or that I finally discovered Grey’s Anatomy, or that we binge watched Peaky Blinders while eating sushi on Christmas Eve, or that I had to have an appendectomy just days before Christmas. While all exciting things, I am talking about something much more exciting!
Drum roll or better yet jingle bells please …
I played the December Daily game for the first time!
OK I know December Daily has been around for like a decade but this is my first time playing along and I loved it. December Daily is a concept focused on creating a scrapbook that features a layout or entry every day from December 1st to December 25th. It’s really an opportunity to document all the crazy, fun, festive, busyness we get up to in December.
I love the Christmas season so it somewhat surprising that I have never been inclined to do a December Daily. I think what was holding me up is that I don’t really like Christmas colours – red and green are just really not my jam and many of the Christmas scrapbooking collections are just not my style. But this year my Christmas was a little different than usual and I thought I might need a little happiness boost for the season and decided December Daily would be my boost. Wow, it sure was!
