Life is Beautiful in Edinburgh

The latest sketch challenge from Let’s Get Sketchy team is another one for the “go-to sketches” Smashbook I keep on my scrap table. It has my scrapbook kryptonite – multiple photos. As much as I love the clean design of a single photo layout, I secretly love the busy-ness and fun of a multi photo layout so much more. I want to be a bit overwhelmed with memories I guess eh!

Here is a peek at the Let’s Get Sketchy November 15th Sketch Challenge:

In 2013 my sister Shar (another partner here at Scrapstorian) and I travelled to Scotland to walk the Great Glen Way then whirlwind through Edinburgh for a day. While I am almost done scrapbooking the trip, a big chunk of the photos I have left to do are from our Edinburgh a day. This 3 photo layout from Let’s Get Sketchy was a great way to make a dent in the picture pile,

In fact a double dent … I created this layout:

Then carried on to create another, as a mirror to the first one – and voila a one page sketch challenge turns into a double page layout that I am totally digging!  Here is the second layout:

Now finally, a little side by side view:

Thanks Let’s Get Sketchy – this turned out fun x 2!

Pop over to Let’s Get Sketchy next for loads of inspiration from their design team, and to play with their twice monthly challenges.
