A Ghoul to Sketch

Hello Everyone! Happy Almost Halloween!

I was a little ghoulish in getting out the first Stuck Sketches of October … We took a trip over the Canadian Thanksgiving and ended up getting a little boohind on my take for the first half of this month.

Laura at Stuck Sketches created a frightfully amazing one page layout, offering a design for multiple pictures all while incorporating a special spot for a FEATURE FAVOURITE PHOTO!

I personally think this sketch is a “ghoul to” for such events like Halloween , Christmas, School Photos (multiple poses), birthdays, sports and the list goes on and on and on …  What normally I find as two page LOs can now be one page without looking like things are monster-mashed together!

I don’t know about you, but I find Halloween, B-days and Christmas murderous to scrapbook and I have no idea WHY!! Just not my toe-jam I guess!

HOWEVER, I am working on my son’s annual album which includes the holidays, so I choose Halloween for this sketch and POOF … with many hallowedpranks to Laura at Stuck Sketches it worked so well a zombie could have put it together!

Here is MY take:

Key features:

My stash of Halloween paper is low I had to improvise; Luckily, I had been holding on to a couple sheets from the Toil & Trouble Collection by Making Memories I picked up a few years ago.

This set (now discontinued) is evilly cute but I had very little, so using Bo Bonny Dot Paper – I created my own background.

I drew a skeleton mimic of the spider web from the T&T collection, added in some mummified Heidi Swapp Spray, a few random enamel dots, some creepy bling and I was able to get a background that I was quite tortured with!!

So again I have to send out more howls out to Laura and the gang at Stuck Sketches for being witchtastic! LOVE THIS SKETCH!

I close promising that my Halloween references are now dead!

Have Spooktacluar day! – that one slipped I swear!
