Us partners in paper here at Scrapstorian went challenge crazy at one of our only-once-a-year-scrapbook-weekends together (we live in different provinces). Inspired by the Cut It Up April challenge over at Paper Issues, we all cut an ampersand in any font or size and then each created a layout …
Here is Cheryl’s ampersand creation:
Cheryl used a random selection of leftovers from a Cocoa Daisy kit (cough, cough, that I bought and struggled to use).
Okay let’s see what Shar created with her Ampersand file:
Shar used the awesome new collection from Simple Stories, Love & Adore for this page. I particularly love this page as it’s me and my nephew (Shar’s son) on an awesome vacation day here in British Columbia. Biased? Yup!
Now here is my ampersand layout:
For this page I used a Recollections Mixed Media paper pack from Michael’s Craft Store, some Bazzill Basics Cardstock Raven (black) and some random gold items left over from past kit clubs.
I could not resist trying my hand at a second ampersand page, check this one out:
I did this second layout in 8.5 x 11 format to go in my Mexico 2016 holiday album and used my brand spanking new collection Sunshine & Happiness from Simple Stories.
Cheryl is the only partner in paper here at Scrapstorian that has a Silhouette Cameo and after spending a weekend with her playing with it … I think one of these might make it to my birthday and Christmas list!
