I cannot resist the challenges Laura Whitaker puts up over at Stuck?! Sketches – sometimes I feel like super fan-girl. Laura’s April 15, 2017 Sketch Challenge is no exception to the ‘great sketch’ rule. Here is a look at the sketch:
I had a couple of photos to play with from an awesome hike at Ruckle Park, Salt Spring Island here in beautiful British Columbia and this great scrapbook paper that has been in my stash for well too long to remember which company it is from – so sorry!
Here is my take on the sketch:
I had fun busting my stash on this layout – I used just scrap paper from my scraps file folder for the bottom layers and those peeking behind the photos. I used the ephemera left over from a kit I ordered from Scrapshotz over a couple years ago to add the little camera related stuff and pink bits, and used the very last bits from my much hoarded and loved Marquee Enamel Shapes from Close to My Heart.
I was also happy to add a flair from Paper and Spool who has here creative business in my hometown Edmonton, Alberta. Go Oilers (just for you Shar)!
Pop over to Stuck?! Sketches to see this April 15, 2017 and their April 1, 2017 sketch challenges.
