At a recent family photo session, my sister and bro-in-law got some awesome pics of my nephews. These two little hooligans are as energetic as they come, so getting them to stand still, walk slow or even sit in one spot with a pose or two was quite the feat. The results are awesome and begged to be scrapbooked!
I used the same set Simple Stories, Awesome for both – setting them up like complimentary one-page layouts or a sort of double-page layout. The set is now retired but before it was I stocked up on a bunch of the paper, stickers and such. My sister (Shar, another Scrapstorian) and I both looooove this set and will use every last scrap of it creating layouts!
In my usual style, I used a bunch of stuff from the set to create embellishment piles on each layout – using wooden stars for H’s page and chipboard gears for G’s page to give them their own look. The embellishments include some cork ready shapes and numbers (now retired) from Close to My Heart, some enamel dots (retired) from Stampin’ Up, random metal gears and chipboard gears from my stash, and some floss.
With photos this good it was easy to create to these layouts – shout out to sis-in-law Rosa!
