My two nephews are without a doubt some of the biggest sports fans! They both watch hockey, heckle each other about their teams (Penguins vs Oilers), and play mini-sticks in the basement any free minute they have. They also play football, hockey and rugby. So it’s pretty apt that during family photo session they posed with something from their current sport of choice!
With these three photos to work, the February Sketch Challenge over at Stuck?! Sketches was perfect – the large star embellishment in the background that Laura Whitaker included in the sketch was icing on the cake.

Now here is ‘my boys’ and their sports shots from the family photo session:
I used the Fancy Pants, Be Different which has always made me happy. It’s a bit of an older set but pretty darn timeless in my opinion, you can’t an expiry date on cute monsters. The set came with stickers, chipboard buttons, ticket roll, and such awesome paper. I made three little piles using the embellishments of the set.
I added in some string bits I had hanging around (likely left over from a Scrap Shotz set of the past), some cork ready shapes now retired from Close to My Heart, and some enamel dots retired from Stampin Up. All stuck down using my fav adhesive Tombow Mono Multi XL Liquid Glue.
A big shout out to my sis-in-law Rosa for her amazing camera skills on these photos!
