Okay, taking you a wee bit back in time with this blog post to share one of my very, very, very (did I mention very!) favourite layouts of all time. I found this sketch, based on a layout by Amy Mallory, in the March/April 2013 edition of Creating Keepsakes Magazine and I cannot even begin to count how many times I have used it.
Here is a sneak peak of the sketch, and here is a link to an image of the original layout by Amy Mallory and more details on how to accomplish this sketch from the CK website:
My favourite way to take photographs is to take … well … let’s be honest … way too many! This sketch was the answer to my overzealous picture taking by providing an opportunity to showcase a large format of the best picture AND feature a whole bunch of the additional detail photos.
Here I have used the sketch to showcase how much my little brother loves Lego:
Here I have used the sketch to showcase the awesome Cinque de Terre trail in Italy:
Here I have used the sketch to showcase all the crazy, silly photos my sister and I took of ourselves in Scotland after a lengthy day of hiking:
Here I have used the sketch to showcase some of the finer details from a game of Polocrosse (lacrosse on horses for us North Americans) my husband played as part of team Canada against France, in France:
As you can see this layout by Amy Mallory and the sketch version by Creative Keepsakes are just so versatile. The design makes a great two page layout and gives you an opportunity to showcase a lot of those events or moments where you may have “accidentally” taken way too many photos.
Give it a go! 😉
