Hello Again Everyone, after a long summer hiatus –  I AM BACK!

I have to give credit where credit is due (and usually in my blog posts it’s going to Mr. Holtz), but in this case it goes to my sister, who so kindly sent me this sketch by the lovely Becky Fleck – issued by Let’s Capture our Memories Sketch #92 – stating, and I quote, “it’s right up my alley”.
As usual, she is right!

So after an awesome summer, a move and getting the new scrap space set up, this was the sketch that kick started me back into SCRAPPING!

Ah,  feels SO good..

I love this sketch for a couple of reasons…
1. The Clustering –  so many options, so fun!
2. Two picture layout with a single picture feel.. AAAWWEEESOME!

I found two great photos from our vacation in Kelowna a few years back and some awesome patterned paper and title embellishment from the fine folks of Fab Scraps (Organic Herbs and Laugh & Play Word). I mixed in a few layers of Mr.Holtz’s bestest everest stencils & distress inks, Ms.Swapp’s Colour Shine Mists, some roughly traced circles and an embellishment that I picked up over a decade ago (fish net) and…….

TADA, WHAT A GREAT PAGE!

(a little added touch was a simple blue smooch spritz.. In the top left corner and bottom left corner to balance out the page)
