Transform your Backgrounds

Hello all, sorry for being away so long… I want to say I’ve been busy but I am so sick of that word! Let’s go with … it’s been an active time since my last posting and I have not managed to celebrate some free time by creating a layout! It feels good to be back!

This page was inspired by the Happy Place stamp by Ms. Tangerine (given to me by my sister)!

I created another LO using different layers of ink to transform my background paper. I started with a subtle patterned yellow paper (from a random paper pack I grabbed from Micheal’s some time ago). Mr. Holtz’s distress inks, some water, some of Ms. Swapp’s mist, a little Whisper White from Stampin’ Up! and a peekaboo of some background stamps gave it a whole new look. I made sure to take a pic of the LO against the original paper, to show the effect this can have on pictures and on your background!

Basically, anything goes! A little or a lot, one layer or two! The pictures in my LO are so fun and colourful, I left off the matting, embellished a wee bit, using Tim’s hangers and Close to my Heart cork embellishments, which are the BOMB!
