Let’s Capture Our Scotland Memories
Hmm, what do I like most about the Let’s Capture Our Memories Sketch #68 Reveal most? The clustering of the embellishments? The opportunity for 3 photos on a layout? The lack of perfect symmetry and yet great overall page balance? Okay fine, it is all of these reasons and more! You are always in good hands with one of Becky Fleck’s sketches from PageMaps.
Here is the Let’s Capture Our Memories Sketch #68:
This sketch was perfect for some photos of my trip to Scotland with my best friend a few years back. There are two very well known facts about Scotland: 1) it is known for the amazing Eilean Donan Castle which happens to be the most photographed castle in the world, and 2) the weather is never good. Never, not ever. Well, we had the full blown true Scottish experience this day – the most photographed castle in the world in front of us and true, wonderful (she groans) Scottish weather which made it near impossible to get any great photographs. So this sketch with a couple of smaller photo spots was perfect for these less than perfect photos of the castle.
Here is my layout based on the sketch:
Supplies: Heidi Swapp Specialty Paper (No Limits), Heidi Swapp Memory File Foto Stack Openable, Tsukineko Versa Magic Multi Surface Chalk Ink (Jumbo Java), Tim Holtz Layering Stencil (Splatters), Close To My Heart Keyboard Kraft Alphabet, Momenta Antique Bronze Travel Word Medallions Metal Stickers, MT Tape (Map Design), CTMH Waxy Flax (Brown), Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue, We R Memory Keepers Enamel Shape (Neutral)
