Here’s the last of our musical challenge posts. (Find the others here and here.) We’ve talked about playing scrapbook musical chairs at several retreats now and finally did it.
This was our plan:
1) Choose photos.
2) Set a timer for 20 minutes; start working on your layout. When the timer goes off, leave your layout and move over to the next person’s desk.
3) Restart the timer, work on the other layout. When the timer goes off, switch chairs/layouts again.
4) After each person has worked on each layout for 20 minutes at a time, allow each person 20 minutes to finish their own layouts.
(We did allow for a 10 minute “pause” which was invoked once.)
Crazy fun, huh? We had a few rules; we had to use each others supplies, work with whatever was adhered to the page when we got there and check if there were any “sacred” supplies.
We used this sketch from Colourful Creations.
Shar started her page with some cute photos and a little red and blue. (Plenty of patriotic jokes ensued …)
Cheryl was up next.
Brande started in on the USA jokes here … 😉 She added some fun elements during her time on this page.
Shar finished the page with some great details.
Three scrappers, three layouts! Would you trust another person with your photos?

Where did you get that washi tape with the 6? I ;love it!
Hi Cathy … the ‘red ticket washi tape’ with numbers was something I found in a scrapstore here in Vancouver; but you can get it from Etsy (visit MooseArt) or Stampington.com too. It is so fun!
