Hello all, Sketchabilties #110 by the wonderful sketcher Karan Gerber is really great! Fun and Exciting, lots of texture possibilities!!

However, I don’t think my approach on this one was in sync with the design, though the idea is there. If I were to give this a second go, it certainly would be a different turn out; I am still pleased with the layout I created and always appreciate any inspiration! Using the amazing Bo Bunny Forever Fall Dot 12×12, some mist, some odd embellishments from all sorts of resources (Recollections, Mr. Holtz, CTMH to name a few) the overall layout, I believe, came together! In this picture are some serious VIPs and the LO did not over take the focus on the picture.

These are myy father’s siblings and his mother and what amazing people they are! Even though I was not at this event, I still treasure this picture! I find when I pull out a photo like this and take a moment to study it and let the memories play in my head before the colour scheming and embellishment hunting starts, it reminds me of what scrapbooking is truly all about!
