I had the pleasure of being part of a beautiful wedding this summer. Alyssa and Michael were married in a beautiful bistro that we dressed up with a few personal touches. (Prepare yourself for a photo heavy post!)
The first idea Alyssa and I worked on was the seating chart. She had this black frame and white wooden words to mark each table. When she showed me the frame idea, I knew we could dress it up with some great fonts and my Silhouette. We cut each table name from grey Close to my Heart card stock and matted them with purple. We also cut small designs in the corner of each to further show off the negative space concept.
(A quick note about the photos: most were taken during set up the day before the wedding using my phone. Apologies for the quality.)
Using the same Lobster font, we cut a hashtag for friends and family to use and added it to a photo frame at the entrance table.
My gift to the bride and groom was a Project Life mini album, filled with photos and cards for guests to sign. It was a fun personal twist on a guest book.
The “All you need is Love” card was cut from the wedding invitations. Other cards are from the Midnight, Wedding and Dear Lizzy PL collections.
After all that, I should probably share a wedding layout with you. This one went through many incarnations before I finally got it right. Congrats on a beautiful day, you guys, I was honoured to be a part of it.
