Do you ever buy paper you just don’t want to cover up? I LOVE paper. I am slightly obsessed with it, as are most scrapbookers I know. Before I headed out to a weekend scrapbook retreat a few weeks ago, I stopped at my LSS for some last minute things, knowing I “needed” a few papers from Elle’s Studio.
I picked up two of these chalkboard papers, one for each kid, and used them for simple, every day snapshot type layouts. I just didn’t want to cover all that paper! Each page has one photo, a few layered tags and an embellished corner, talk about fast and easy! The only thing not from Elle’s Studio is the washi and, sorry, I don’t know where all the tapes are from. (Bad blogger!)
Supplies: Elle’s Studio paper and die cuts, Omiyage and unknown washi tape

The third layout I wanted to show you uses a Teresa Collins doily paper from the Memories collection. The colours and patterns were great so I knew I had to leave a lot of paper showing. I had some sort of dark, not great photos from R’s second birthday that deserve a place in her album but aren’t good for enlargements or even full 4x6s. I used nested circle dies to match the sizes of each photo to a doily centre then cut them to fit. An Amy Tangerine stamp in each corner, a few drops of mist, some word stickers and a small title were all I needed to finish it.
Supplies: Teresa Collins paper, Amy Tangerine for American Crafts stamp, Tim Holtz distress ink, Mister Huey mist, Stampin’ Up! marker, Authentique stickers, Lifestyle Crafts circle dies, Sizzix Big Shot
I love, love Elle’s Studio!!
