Okay, fail is too strong a word. Mid Week mistake? I don’t know. Here’s the story …
I started with this week’s Mid Week Mojo sketch from Scrapbook Steals.
I have some beautiful Creative Memories paper that I really should have used by now but it’s the sort of paper I just don’t know what to do with. I pulled it out for this sketch and that may be where my trouble started. 😉 It’s hard to be inspired by supplies that don’t feel like my style. (I also tried to use a doily, which has never ended well for me!)
I played around with the layout and kept adding and moving, removing and adding, adding again until I realized it’s just time to walk away. So, here’s what I want to know, what do you do with those layouts that just don’t come together the way you envisioned?
(By the way, I know there is nothing inherently wrong with the page, this just isn’t the page I had in mind. We all have them!)
Not a fail, but I totally understand not loving a page! Mine normally get shoved in the album when I put all the others in because I still told the story and in hind sight (since I only album the pages every 6 months or so) the “fail” doesn’t seem as “significant.” I think the page is cute.
Good point, when some time has passed and I look at this in an album, I’m sure it won’t bother me as much.
