… and the girls at Scrapbook Steals have plenty!
It’s Mid Week Mojo time over at Scrapbook Steals; MWM is one of those challenges I say I’ll do every week … Well, this is the week!
The sketch is great, as is the inspiration layout. I am committed. It’s now or never 😉 I even have the Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic line to use, though only in 6×6.
I selected a Fancy Pants background page, then flipped through my 6×6 pad and pulled out anything I liked. I could get away with any colour scheme, since I had converted my photo to black and white. I felt like lots of layers, so that’s what I did. I actually placed the layers last night and then slept on it 😉
When I came back to the page today, I was still happy with it but added a piece of misted vellum left behind from yesterday’s project. I also added some American Crafts ribbon tape, flowers and buttons. The final touch after yet another break was some Mister Huey splatters (in Taxi) in each corner and at the corner of the photo. (I actually wish I hadn’t painted around the corner of the photo but, oh well!)
Supplies: Fancy Pants and American Crafts paper, American Crafts ribbon, My Mind’s Eye washi tape, Stampin’ Up! buttons and flowers, Studio Calico mist
