CS January sketch

I have had this layout sitting, 98 percent finished, on my desk all week. This evening, I decided it’s 100 percent finished. I had been feeling like I needed to add something but wasn’t sure what, so I just figured it must be done!

I used the Canadian Scrapbooker January sketch by Sue Sykes for this page about my favourite little man scrapbooking. I love the look of the iconic Apple sticker and tried to mimic that with a Stampin’ Up! stamp and white embossing powder on vellum for the tree. The base of the page is actually packaging from Pink Paislee mistables. I loved the built in pocket at the bottom and used it to hide my journaling.

Don’t you love how focused he looks?  🙂 The title and journaling explain how much fun it is for me to see him doing something I enjoy. Everyone knows he is so much like his dad, it was fun to think that maybe he’s like me too!
