Playing in Paradise Challenge

Scrapbooker’s Paradise is my LSS. It’s a great store, with great staff full of great ideas. Each week, the design team hosts a Playing in Paradise challenge. This week, I finally got organized to work on PPC#98, use something new.

I just received some Heidi Swapp Colour Magic papers in the mail yesterday, from Scrapbook Steals. (Who can resist deals combined with a $5 shipping promo?) Instead of just putting them away with the rest of my paper hoard (I mean stash ;)) I kept a hexagon pattern on my desk to work with right away. I loved the packaging and kept that out as well.

I may have taken the new theme a little too far; I decided to scrap some snapshots from New Year’s Eve. I also pulled out some products I snagged at Scrapbooker’s after Christmas. Yay for giftcards!

Here is my “Welcome 2013, use some new stuff” layout! πŸ™‚ The complete supply list is below. (Don’t you love how the paper is curling from the ink I applied? I don’t have the patience required to let things dry properly!)

Stickers: Little Yellow Bicycle, Amy Tangerine, Echo Park
