Accent Vlog!

Yay, a band wagon! Okay, a blog meme, but still. I like to do what all the cool kids are doing 😉

I’ve been watching (and tweeting) about accent vlogs today and it’s really interesting to hear the real voice behind tweets and blogs. So I did one too! Excuse the lame hair and red nose. Colds suck, y’know?

Sorry I got cut off at the end, I was talking about my Pop calling the remote a clicker, that’ll make sense after you watch!

Here goes …

Say the following words:
Aunt, route, wash, oil, theatre, iron, salmon, caramel, fire, water, sure, data, ruin, crayon, toilet, New Orleans, pecan, both, again, probably, spitting image, Alabama, lawyer, coupon, mayonnaise, syrup, pajamas, caught

Answer these questions:
What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that curls into a ball when you touch it?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you use to change the TV channel?

  1. Yay! I love hearing everyone’s accents. You definitely have an accent to my American ear, but in a totally adorable way.

Also, you have really pretty teeth. Which is totally a non-sequitur I know, but they’re nice and I noticed!

    • Well, thanks 🙂 I’ve always considered them kinda crooked so it’s funny to me that you would notice. Funny, but appreciated!

  2. Omigosh I just want to have coffee with you, right now. Love all of it.
Not sure how I didn’t know you were from Newfoundland? I guess I’m just…zoned out? I’ve always wanted to go to Newfoundland. Because of the awesome sense of humour every Newf I’ve ever met has. And because of the cliffs, and the dogs, and the farrrr eaaast coast of Canada thing. Sigh. Someday.

    • Name the place for coffee and I’m there … I wish!
Newfoundland is pretty awesome. When you make it there, let me know and I’ll hook you up with some pretty fantastic people.
