In January I was super lucky and won the entire, brand new Simple Stories – Bliss Collection as part of their blog giveaway! The collection is all water colours, rain boots, umbrellas and blossoms. Super soft and feminine (not always my scrap style) but very applicable to the rainy life we lead in soggy Vancouver, BC (totally my life style).

To get my bliss started, I sat down with the Stuck?! Sketches March 15-2018 Sketch Challenge which features two photos and lots of layering (my style!). Here is the sketch:

Inspired by the two square photos in the sketch, I printed these two “from where I stand” photos of my boots showing what the weather looks when like looking down. These photos were taken just a week apart; from snow to blossoms in March. Wow, I love Vancouver. A perfect scenario for the bloom and bliss theme of the collection.

The cardstock and stickers in this collection are fabulous. They feature pops of black that really anchor the purple, pink and mint. Here is a close up:
